Everything’s dark… I’ve been gone for so long… what’s happening?
It had been a long time since Konseishi had let her return out- but she didn’t even like to come out anymore- everything was dead- evil, the darkness crept up around her every waking moment as she lived on unwillingly, linked to the awful demon, that just wanted to cause her continuous pain- in such things like making her kill her own parents, fighting her sister, loosing her mind- wheeling over memories that were long forgotten. She wanted to die- but Konseishi would never let her- after all she was the only link to her existence.
Skye- the real sky- pulled herself along the ground through the blood and dirt as the rain fell all around her- her tears of blood fell as well as she moved- wincing at almost every movement since it would send pain all throughout her own body, making her shudder and pull again- repeating the same experience.
Her thoughts gushed with pain as she cried- her sanity slipping away as she pulled another few inches, her bloodied hands becoming even more covered in mud. Her black and blue hair hung in her eyes as she closed them, pulling again- wincing every time.
”Why? Why do you torture me this way?”
She pleaded helplessly in her mind.
“You know very well why my dear…”
Purred the cold voice of Konseishi in her head as she pulled again, gasping in pain when a rock cut through her skin again. She couldn’t pull her hand back though, she had to keep going to get out of this alleyway…

Dekay had taken over Brezzen's body. He stood up above everything surveying the scene down below. A young girl crawling. Obviously in pain. Her eyes were bleeding, the blood mixing with the rain. Her mind had stopped working it seemed, or there was a struggle. He could sense another demon in her, but the girl herself didn't seem as if she were a demon. The demon he sensed was powerful. The kind of demon that Dekay would be happy to latch onto and corrupt. No one stopped the leach demon. He chose his food source, and he stayed there until something stronger came along. Unfortunately he couldn't latch onto something already bound to another. That was what frustrated him about this girl.
Blood dripped down from his fingertips, suspended on the air by invisible strings. He flicked a wrist, and the strings of his right hand wrapped tightly around the metal of a rusted fire escape. He flicked his left hand, and the strings wrapped around the railing of the fire escape on the building across from him.
He lightly jumped off of the edge of the hulking concrete monster that had once been called a building, and seemed to slowly float down. In actuality the strings from his fingertips were just slowly lowering him. He landed about six inches from the girls face. He flicked his wrist again, and four equally sized pieces of metal bar fell to the ground from where his strings had wrapped.
Without coming down to her level Dekay spoke. "And who, young girl, are you?" His voice sounded like a grim cheshire cat's would.

Skye couldn't bother to even flick her wolf ears as she heard someone close- through the pounding rain that nearly defeaned her now. Then there was a thump infront of her. Her heart stopped beating for a few moments as she thought that it was her brother- or possibly Cain- but no, when she looked up through her black hair she could see that it wasn't. She blinked at him for a few moments, hearing him, but not sure what to answer.
She wanted to back away from this man, but she couldn't, she knew she couldn't- she couldn't even stand at the moment. She let her eyes fall away again as she looked at the ground again- letting her bangs fall infront of her face.
"I am no one anymore..." she said- a bit of an eerie voice, but she stayed there, not moving again for several moments, before looking back up. "I used to be someone... but it was taken away from me."

Dekay smiled down at her dramatic appeal. It reminded him of the voices of thousands that he'd heard in all his life. The voice of despair wrought from the failure to succeed. She couldn't stand on her own two feet anymore. "Aren't we all?" He asked happily, grinning.
The blood that dripped from his fingers stopped. He'd retracted the strings. Going into his pocket he put on a pair of white gloves, and walked around her. "You don't like bein around me do you?" He asked while sizing her up. "Is it the smell that bothers you? I've always thought that my bittersweet swampy smell could be a bit overpowering to some. Then again it could be the wailing spirits. That's gotten to several people." He kneeled down at her side, pressing into several places on her back as if he were a doctor of some sort. "I'm Dekay by the way." He stood up and went to the cut on her leg. Ripping off his right sleeve at the elbow he tied it around the cut at her leg. He didn't care. The next time he forced Brezzen to change back into him the sleeve would be back.
He then went back over to her face, crouching down. "So again, I ask you child, who are you? Truly? A failure, a fugitive? A murderer or theif? One of the few, the proud, the saviors? The only four left on the planet?" He smiled. He was toying with her, and likely she knew it.

This time her ears did prick up a bit as he spoke. Her eyes followed his movements carefully- not as well as what she once might of done- but it worked well enough for now. Skye wasn't sure what he was talking about anymore but she still listened, trying to understand. She let out a quiet hiss at him as he spoke, her pupils narrowing as much as they could before it hurt. "You don't bother me.... what you are does." she hissed, not bothering to look back at him.
She winced in pain as he pressed on several places on her back. She would of swatted him with her tail- but she couldn't right now- it wasn't just the physical pain- it was the mental pain of thinking of being hit again for doing it. "Dekay. she repeated thoughtlessly when he told her his name.
Skye looked back at him this time as he wrapped a piece of cloth around her leg where a gash dripping with blood back- then he came back to her, crouching down. "Who am I?" she repeated to herself, looking to the ground again. Dekay listed several things, and one of her wolf ears pricked up. She didn't know- all of them maybe, no not all- maybe one... or two. "I am........" she didn't answer- not knowing the answer herself, but she could tell that he was trying to toy with her- though she didn't have much concious thought to it- she did know that was what he was doing.
"Murderer...." Konseishi hissed in her mind- showing her flashes of her parents, Skye drenched in her own parents blood after killing them.
Skye clamped her hands over her ears, her eyes shutting tightly. "Not listening. Not listening." she repeated several times- not opening her eyes as the images stayed there, fresh in her mind now as the tears of blood continued to fall down her cheeks again- over her scars.

Dekay saw her ears moving. A good sign. She was gaining energy. As she winced he wanted to say "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you." But knew it woud do no good. But when she repeated his name he said. "Yes. Dekay. The parasite demon of corruption." He went to one knee, placing his hand on her shoulder as she tried to think. "It's okay, take your time. There's no rush left in this world."
As she spoke again Dekay knew it was too her demon. Brezzen had done similar things. He spoke again to take her mind off of the ever growing presense of her demon. "If you don't mind, I'm going to help you a bit."
He slowly, gingerly went to her side, and turned her over ever so carefully with hands gentler than any mothers had ever been. He lifted her head, and slid his knee under it so that his thigh acted as a pillow. "A different question then. What am I that bothers you?"

Skye sighed letting her hands fall away again, closing her eyes more lightly now as she thought. "I don't know what I am." she came to her sad but true conclusion. She had barely even been alive for the past couple years- she didn't know who she was anymore- to this world- to other people- she didn't know anything.
Her ears gave another slight twitch when he said that he would help her. She opened her eyes again to look at him. "Your going to help me?" she asked, a bit stunned by that for several moments. He moved to her side, turning her over carefully, gently- that was somewhat surprising, but she was thankful for it- she was growing a bit tired of being face in the mud.
Once he got her into a position he spoke again. She thought about it, her eyes glanced around searchingly. "I'm not sure... just something..." she said a bit more calmly now as she started to get some feeling back in one of her legs.

He laughed when she seemed surprised, and said. "Hey I'm not that bad of a guy. I've just got a bad reputation."
Dekay nodded. "Not many people are comfortable around demons and," He paused waving his hand through the air as if he was going to catch the rest of the sentence. He began again. "You don't seem like you've had much luck with demons." He paused again. "Of course that might not be it at all. I have no idea. I'm not the greatest mind in existence."
He looked down at her, then up to the raining sky. "Well, let's see if I can do anything about this." He pulled off his gloves, and making careful not to touch the girl with either of his bare hands he shot the invisble strings from his fingertips, making a loose web above them. He bit the strings out at his fingertips, and swung them up into the web. Then from the palms of his hands he shot a small metal ball, and a large green flower pod.
They quickly attatched themselves to the web of strings, and within seconds they had grown thick across the strings, blocking out the rain. It worked just as well, because the rain was weakening the destructive properties of them both. He put his gloves back on, and spoke again. "Much better."
He turned back down Skye. "How are you feeling? Any better?" He wasn't much of a doctor. He knew a few things, but he couldn't be any sort of surgeon or anything. This wasn't that bad of a situation though so he wasn't too worried.

"Yes... you are a good person I do believe..." she said a bit more smoothly this time, not sounding quite as crazy. Skye watched him curiously now as he seemed to try and catch something in the air, even though there was nothing there. "Not much luck now... not with them... but as one yes." she said, looking up at him still from her laying position.
It was intresting to watch as Dekay made the sort of web cot, or something, using vines also as far as she could tell. As they swung up, she clinged, not wanting to fall, her eyes shutting tightly. She opened her eyes again as the rain seemed to stop, noting that it looked like some sort of cacoon. That was very intresting, and her ears pricked forward as she gazed around it like she was a child- seeing the world for the first time.
"Better." she said, with a slight nod. Skye tilted her head, looking back up at Dekay, blinking somewhat- still a bit confused obviously. "How did you make this?" she asked curiously, her wolf tail swaying a bit now.

When they had settled, he had the short chance to admire her facial expression. She really was a beautiful girl. He noticed her tail moving. Another good sign. He smiled down at her when she asked him what he had done. "It's a two part deal." He took off a glove, and let a string come from the tip of his middle finger. He grabbed the string between his thumb and forefinger holding it taught. A small drop of blood made it's way down the invisible string, showing where it was. "First I make a web of these metal strings." He retracted the string, and put his glove back on. "Then I use the powers I've stolen from this faerie's body, and make these vines. Normally the vines'd be poisonous, and you'd be dead, but you're in luck. The rain weakens it. The metal ball, that you saw makes babred wire, anrd that made a sort of foundation. The vines cushion us. It all works out."
He pointed out her smaller movements, that seconds ago she hadn't been able to perform. "I see you're feeling better." A small smile had planted itself on his lips. He was glad to be with her. Finally he was with someone sane. Being locked up with Brezzen as his only person to talk to hadn't been the best of times. That kid was psychotic on so many levels.

Skye returned his smile, beginning to listen intently as he explained how he was able to conjure this structure. "So your a faerie then? she asked once he was done explaining, finding this quite intreging now that she could think more clearly- or think at all.
She nodded when he noted that she was feeling better. "Mhmm.." she replied, "Better then usual thanks to you." she finished, her eyes wandering back up to him again as he looked down at her smiling. She wasn't completly sure why he was smiling at her, but she smiled back, sort of upon reaction to it. Now that she was put back to sanity- somewhat- she could feel emotions more easily now, and sense them from him aswell. "This pleases you?" she said, more of a statement then a question, but still.

Brezzen chuckled. "Well I'm not personally a faerie, but Brezzen is. He's got the wings to show it. His hands of power are a bit...healthier than mine though. His don't make things dead anyway." He looked around at the vines that had had there poison stripped away by the rain. "No I'm a leach demon. I attatch myself to someone, and feed off of there power. A parasite basically. Not a great reputation to begin with, but" He paused. "You can't change your own birth." He thought a bit. "I guess technically I'm a demon faerie yeah."
When she reassured him of how she was feeling, he nodded, and said. "Good, and don't worry about it. I don't need thanks." He shifted so that she could be slightly more comfortable. She looked fine already, but Dekay wanted her to feel at her best. He nodded. "Yes. All of this pleases me. I enjoy being here." He paused, thinking. "You're not too used to emotions and the like are you?

"I see." she said with a slight nod of understanding. "No, you can't change your own birth- but if one person could then everyone else would want to too, and soon no one would be real anymore." she was half explaining this to herself as she put out her opinion to Dekay- though she was a bit confused as to where she was finding these things to say- maybe she was regaining her sanity after all, or at least she hoped a little bit.
"But you deserve thanks." she said, looking up at him with those big child like eyes of hers. Skye smiled at him, her tail twitching again. "I'm glad that it pleases you." she said, still looking up at him now. His next question came to a bit of a differing thing for her, though she partly knew the answer to it. "No... not really." she replied, shaking her head slightly.

He shook his head. If anyone on the planet deserved thanks it wasn't him, but he wouldn't say anything about it. He was glad she was smiling though, and her eyes had gained even more of his attention. "Well, that's unfortunate. I'd help you out, but I've never been known to be the most emotional person. To be honest I'm still learning about them myself. Brezzen gave me mine. It's something new." He shifted slightly, and then thought for a second. And glanced around their small hideaway.
He looked back to her. "Are you cold?"

Skye was always listening intently now, her ears twitching every so often as they normally- or used to do. "Well maybe we can help eachother with emotions. I don't think there that difficult. It may just take much practice." she thought aloud again. "Well new things are good.... normally... right?"
She continued to watch him still, then her ears pricked as he asked her if she was cold. She shook her head gingerly. "No... once thing I do remember about myself is that- never being cold- maybe its the ice that I control...." she said, half speaking to him, and half to herself again.
