History
Not much is known about Testament, the cosmic phoenix expect that every planet he has visited thus far has died horribly. Tsukiya was born and raised in Los Angeles in a japanese family. He was born under a strange sign, resembleling that of a phoenix. In addition, his delivery was belated by Testament's meddleling until exactly at midnight. From that day forward Testament was forced into reverting into an infant stage to adapt to the feeble human's own body.
Tsukiya still retained much of himself and was naturally gifted. This rubbed off on Tsukiya who started to develope mentally more rapidly then normal children. Ironicly his first words were, "Birdy!" for unknown reasons despite the fact he had never seen a bird yet at this point. The two continued to grow together and it was only at the toddler age did the two actually begin to communicate amongst themselves. This was seen as normal behavior from his parents who simply thought it to be that "Imaginary friend" stage; to bad this friend was far from imaginary.
During kindergarten, Tsukiya prefered playing brain games with Testament then playing actual games with the other kids to the point of isolation. Both were still highly immature, and unfortunately Testament did not have the control over his power that he used two causing the desks in the class room to float for a few minutes before coming crashing back down. This started the beginning of the hardship of their lives...
News of this reached the military who immediatly tried to take him for testing, but Tsukiya's parents would not allow it and got hurt in the struggle. Crying his eyes out, Testament's power again surfaced 10 fold from the fever pitch of Tsukiya's emotions and caused the accidental death of everyone in the house or around it with unseen force. This only made Tsukiya feel 100x worse causing more of Testament's power to seap out causing devastation throughout. Calming him down, Testament got Tsukiya to leave and that was the last seen of them.
Tsukiya managed to find a new home in Jump city, Testament using his telepathy to make the people in question believe him to be their son for as long as needed for many years. During this time Testament urged Tsukiya to practice the power they now shared so that they could prevent any more outbursts like before. For many years Tsukiya under the guise of an average boy, began to secretly plan. He would never forget what the military tried to do to him as a child... things needed to be changed, but how? He looked up to the city defenders, The Teen Titans as role models soon afterward...
Alternate History
(Errr, I'm just pulling this one out of my ass. Pretty much the same)
Things were going rather well in his new life and he had actually grown fond of his new family. Even Testament had taking a certain shine to them, but all good things come to an end. This sad truth was only so brutal as the day when the one called Inferno ravaged the city with the fires of hell themselves with the help of others. Nearly everyone was killed in this rampage. The ones that weren't killed were hoarded off by demons and androids while Tsukiya and Testament were among the few refugees that managed to escape.
He had once again lost everything dear to him. From that day forward, something snapped inside him. Whether or not it had something to do with Testament's normal behavior or not, something snapped. Tsukiya then dissappeared into isolation, moving back to his home town where he robbed three places. A bank (for money), and two different weapon developement companies for their technology. In the days that followed, Tsukiya has begun plans to form a team to look over Los Angeles so that it's citizens did not suffer the same fate as Jump City, but is that truely what Testament and Tsukiya are planning? Or something more?
Personality[/b]
Tsukiya has had to fight for his life since losing his parents. This has caused him to grow a very rugged and rough exterior. He does not trust easily and behaves very mechanical in nature. He is far to mature for his age and doesn't miss a chance to be critical. If you mess up, he'll make you feel like an idiot. In a nut shell, he makes Raven sound nice...
Extras[/u]
Equipement:
Weaponry: His wrist blades are monofilament and can partially harness electromagnetic energy which is released with each strike. This is specificly deadly for electronics, but can still stun organic parts.
Transportation: His teleporter...
Codeword: Chaos
Other: Ummm, think he's done...

Powers - Abilities
Tsukiya is possessed by the spirit of a space traveling phoenix forming a sort of symbiotic bond between the two. While Tsukiya alone has no powers on his own, Testament the phoenix, endows him with his own power.
- Cosmic Power: With Testament's power, Tsukiya can harness the cosmic power of space itself in the form of dark matter and dark energy. These two are what is claimed to be what is expanding the galaxy and this should make them quite powerful alone, but together they are incredibly strong.
- Dark matter: Dark matter in itself is invisible to the naked eye and cannot be detected by any means due to it's lack of reflecting or the ability to create electromagnetic energy. While not all that potent on it's own, it mostly just fills the empty space in the galaxy, but has vastly more mass of anything visible. Tsukiya can utilize dark matter by creating strong barriers against all forms of physical damage on reflex. In addition, he can also crush buildings with enough of the stuff.
- Dark Energy: Essentially this force of space is responsable for the accelerated expansion of the universe. It has tremendous negative pressure that is so potent that it can negate all other forms of gravity. Ironicly it also has gravitational attraction which is not as strong. Essentially Tsukiya can launch devastating attacks in the form of beams, streams, or orbs which can cause tremendous damage. Think about a force which goes completely against gravity. He can also generate shields of dark energy which can repell objects at speeds higher then they originally traveled in (he has to do this manually). In addition, he can lace his body with this energy causing his melees to become super strong or allow him to fly or run at high speeds. Can also create special spheres of concentrated dark energy that acts like a black hole, sucking up everything not nailed down into itself and crushing it to the size of an atom.
- Dark Energy field: Tsukiya can generate a field of dark energy all around him at a wide radius. Within this field he can perform feats nearly identical to telekinesis by lifting objects, but also can crush or tear them apart. Fortunately this can be partially avoided by distracting him for a moment or staying out of the field's radius completely.
- Telepathy: Also from Testament, Tsukiya has the ability to read minds and communicate in a form of thought speech. This will come in handy for talking to teammates from a distance in secrecy. He can also dominate the minds of weak minded individuals, getting them to obey his every command.
- ESP: Testament creates a 360 degree field around Tsukiya at all times. Within this field Tsukiya can sense any incoming attack, however it is still small enough for someone to bomb him from above without him knowing.
- Reincarnation: Like all phoenixes, if Tsukiya is killed Testament can either choose to pick a new vessel, or simply ressurect his current one. There is a hefty penalty to pay for this causing him and his vessel to revert to an infant stage.
- Spirit guardian: At times in battle, if Testament sees need to he can help his vessel out and double his normal power at the cost of taking complete control of his body. In addition, Testament will generate dark matter barriers to ward off physical attacks coming toward his vessel.
- Skilled hand to hand combatant: Skilled is putting it lightly. From centuries of experience, Testament passes on his knowledge to Tsukiya making him a very dangerous opponet up close rounding him out.
- Unearthly brilliance: Tsukiya is very intelligent, some of which is his own, but most of which is Testament's own knowledge from his centuries of knowledge. With this intelligence, Tsukiya can virtually create anything he can think of.
- Light as a feather: As mentioned above: essentially he negates his gravitational field which allows him to escape the pull of gravity. This makes him immune to feeling any weight allowing him freedom to fly at high speeds, or move at roughly similar speeds.
- Can speak Japanese: He's japanese for god's sake!
Physical Weaknesses - Mental Weaknesses
- His dark matter barriers may be able to block physical attacks, but cannot do squat against most elemental attacks (exceptions being anything solid or liquid is blocked).
- His dark matter barrier can work automaticly effectively if the attack is slow enough for Testament to react. In other words he cannot automaticly block bullets or anything faster unless he is prepared before hand.
- As mentioned, his ESP field is small enough for someone to take a shot at him from above without Testament or him knowing it.
- Is still human and can be killed like normal humans
- He has to focus to use his dark hole sphere and if interupted it will dissipate
